Comic Relief launches first Neighborhood Festivals in LA and Philadelphia

Comic Relief is launching its inaugural Neighborhood Festivals, free events pairing live comedy with local nonprofits addressing childhood poverty. The LA edition takes over the Paramount Pictures Studio lot on 19 September 2026, featuring the Groundlings and Upright Citizens Brigade. Philadelphia follows on 24 October. CEO Michele Ganeless cites one in six American children living in poverty. Registration is via comicrelief.org.
