WBD moves into Turkish scripted production with Doğuş partnership

Warner Bros. Discovery and Turkey's Doğuş Media Group will co-finance and co-broadcast Turkish scripted series, Deadline reports. The partnership shifts WBD beyond its 2015 ad-sales arrangement with Doğuş into commissioning. First title is "Tuzlu Kahve," produced by Poll Films, premiering on free-to-air Star TV before reaching HBO Max in Turkey and internationally 24 hours later. Output will not be exclusive to either company.
