Neon gives 'Hope' widest U.S. release for a Korean-language film since 'Parasite'

Neon will open Na Hong-jin's creature thriller "Hope" in roughly 1,500 U.S. theatres on 9 September, the widest domestic footprint for a Korean-language film since Neon's "Parasite" in 2019 (Variety). Premium-format early-access screenings on 7 September have sold out across New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Austin and San Francisco. "Hope" premiered at Cannes and ranks among South Korea's highest-grossing releases this year.
