Prime Video recasts Kratos with Dave Bautista after Ryan Hurst's on-set bicep tear forces reshoots

Ryan Hurst tore his bicep on the God of War set in June; surgery would have delayed production's restart into 2027, per Variety. Prime Video recast Kratos with Dave Bautista, who signed on 20 August. All scenes filmed with Hurst since February's Vancouver start will be reshot. The series has a two-season, back-to-back order.
