HarbourView Acquires Producer Royalties for Chapman's 'Fast Car' and Other Titles

HarbourView Equity Partners has acquired producer David Kershenbaum's interest in producer royalties — the share of recording revenue paid to a track's producer — across master recordings including Tracy Chapman's 'Fast Car,' Joe Jackson's 'Steppin' Out' and Marc Cohn's 'Walking in Memphis,' the firm announced on 3 September 2026. Financial terms were not disclosed.
