DreamWorks' 'Forgotten Island' to close SCAD AnimationFest 2026; Joel Crawford receives Variety Impact Award

DreamWorks Animation's 'Forgotten Island,' written and directed by Joel Crawford, will premiere as the closing film of SCAD AnimationFest 2026, running 23–25 September at SCADshow in Atlanta, Variety reports. Crawford also receives the Variety Impact in Animation Award at the festival's 10th edition.
