Valeria Bruni Tedeschi plays a demonic temptress called The Stranger in Paolo Strippoli's 'The Spiral' (L'estranea), screening in competition at the 83rd Venice Film Festival. Strippoli wrote the role specifically for Bruni Tedeschi. She lures Jasmine Trinca's character into a Faustian pact. Rome's Propaganda and France's Kazak Productions produced. Runtime: 115 minutes.
