Rockstar premiered 25 minutes of GTA VI gameplay on Netflix

Rockstar Games released 'Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look' on Netflix and YouTube on August 27, 2026. The 25-plus-minute presentation was captured entirely from in-game footage on a PlayStation 5, per Rockstar's own description. It is the first time a major games publisher has used a film and TV streaming platform as a primary premiere venue for promotional footage. GTA VI is scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
