Kino Lorber acquires North American rights to IDFA winner A Fox Under a Pink Moon

Kino Lorber has acquired North American rights to A Fox Under a Pink Moon, Deadline reports. The IDFA 2025 best-film winner was co-directed by veteran Iranian film-maker Mehrdad Oskouei and 16-year-old Soraya Akhlaghi, a stateless artist of Afghan descent. Akhlaghi shot the documentary from Iran using her own cell phone footage and video calls with Oskouei. Kino Lorber plans a theatrical release later in 2026.
