Zak Starkey confirmed back as The Who's drummer after second dismissal

Zak Starkey confirmed on 28 August he is returning to The Who on drums, writing on Instagram: "Lookin forward to tearin it up with The Who again." Roger Daltrey told a Las Vegas audience on 26 August the band rehearsed with Starkey and "sounded great." Starkey was fired, rehired and fired again in 2025, with Scott Devours playing the farewell North American tour that ended in October. No new dates announced.
