Fable reboot delayed to 23 February 2027

Playground Games' Fable reboot for Xbox and PC has been delayed from late 2026 to 23 February 2027, as reported by VGC on 31 August 2026. The shift moves the title out of the crowded holiday window and into the first quarter. The game, published by Xbox Game Studios, is also expected on Game Pass, Microsoft's subscription service, at launch. Playground has not announced pricing.
