Arsenal bank £70m selling three forwards but land no marquee replacement

Arsenal agreed to sell Gabriel Martinelli (£56m to Al-Hilal), Gabriel Jesus (£8.6m to Atlético Madrid) and Fábio Vieira (£8.6m to Hamburg) for over £70m combined, per The Guardian. The pursuit of Atlético's Julián Álvarez collapsed after he told Mikel Arteta he wants only Barcelona. Moves for Vinícius Jr and Morgan Rogers also failed. Viktor Gyökeres and Christos Tzolis are the incoming attacking additions.
