TrustNordisk closes multi-territory deals for 'Woman Unknown' before Venice premiere

TrustNordisk has sold May el-Toukhy's post-World War Two drama 'Woman Unknown' to Benelux (September Films), Latin America (California Filmes), Greece (Neo Films) and the Baltics (Estin Film), adding to a prior sale to Italy's Lucky Red, Deadline reports. The deals land ahead of the film's Venice competition world premiere on 6 September 2026 — before any festival audience has seen it. Managing director Susan Wendt called the run-up "an amazing ride."
