Call of Duty beta reaches Switch 2 for the first time

The Modern Warfare 4 open beta, running 28 August to 1 September 2026, was the first Call of Duty beta playable on Nintendo's Switch 2. Weekend Two was free to all players without a pre-order across every platform. Player counts on Switch 2, PlayStation 5 and Xbox are not publicly tracked, according to Eurogamer; only Steam figures are visible — a peak of 115,145 concurrent players during Weekend One.
