Roger Waters joins 'Freedom Theatre' documentary as executive producer

Pink Floyd co-founder Roger Waters has signed on as executive producer of 'Freedom Theatre,' Rishi Pelham's debut feature documentary, Variety reported on 2026-08-31. The film, shot over five years and in final post-production, follows Ahmed Tobasi, Creative Director of the Nobel Peace Prize-nominated Freedom Theatre in the Jenin refugee camp. Suzanne Harb produces for London-based Bathtub Films. A festival circuit rollout is planned.
