Showbox launches microdrama label Showbite, rolling out original short-form content September 2026

Showbox, the South Korean studio behind the 2024 box office hit 'Exhuma,' has launched a microdrama label called Showbite, Variety reports. Original short-form vertical video content begins rolling out from September 2026. The slate spans nine genres including romance, revenge, action-thriller, period drama, fantasy, mystery and horror. Showbox signed a co-production deal with microdrama app ReelShort in June 2026.
