Scheffler wins second FedEx Cup, joins Woods and McIlroy as only multiple champions

Scottie Scheffler won his second FedEx Cup at the Tour Championship at East Lake, Atlanta, finishing 16 under par. Starting the final round three behind Viktor Hovland, Scheffler shot 66 — the only score under par in the last three pairings. Hovland closed with 72, finishing second at 13 under. Only Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy had previously won the PGA Tour's season-long crown more than once. The 22nd win of Scheffler's career earned $10m (£7.4m).
