Australians missing in Nepal glacier flood disaster

Forty-three Australians are among more than 3,000 missing after a Himalayan glacier collapsed, triggering flash floods that engulfed Gyirong port on the Nepal-China border. Nepali and Chinese authorities confirmed at least 810 dead by 30 August. DFAT has fielded over 650 calls from families. Fourteen Australian personnel are on the ground in Kathmandu.
