Root's lbw problem: nine dismissals in seven Tests, all to medium pace

Joe Root has been dismissed lbw nine times in his past seven Test matches, all to pace bowlers operating at around 84mph or below. The run began on Boxing Day in Melbourne. David Warner had flagged the flaw a year earlier, saying Root must "take the surfboard off his front leg." Root, averaging 29.44 this summer, told BBC's Today at the Test he is "not too concerned."
