Mas wins Vuelta stage 9 on Aitana, extends GC lead to 1:18 over Roglic

Enric Mas (Movistar) attacked 3 km from the summit of Aitana on stage 9 of the Vuelta a España, outsprinting Oscar Onley to win the 187 km mountain stage. The victory extended Mas's overall lead to 1 minute 18 seconds over Primoz Roglic, who finished third. Felix Gall held third overall. Mas inherited the red jersey after Tadej Pogacar crashed on stage 8 and withdrew; Pogacar requires surgery.
