Wakefield confirm seven departures as half-back Lino exits after five seasons

Wakefield Trinity have confirmed seven players will leave at the end of the 2026 Super League season. Samoa half-back Mason Lino, 32, departs after five years and nearly 130 appearances, having helped steer promotion back to the top flight in 2024. Hooker Tyson Smoothy joins the NRL's Perth Bears; centre Cam Scott is set for Bradford.
