Terence Stamp pre-shot all Priscilla sequel scenes before his death, refusing a digital double

Director Stephan Elliott pre-shot all of Terence Stamp's Bernadette scenes for the Priscilla, Queen of the Desert sequel before Stamp died on 17 August 2025, aged 87. Elliott told Deadline he acted because Stamp was aging; Stamp opposed a digital double and wanted to perform the role himself, Deadline reported.
