Laura Dern to Deliver Venice Laudatio for Clooney, 20 Years After Honoring Lynch

Laura Dern will give the laudatio for George Clooney's Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement at the 83rd Venice Film Festival opening ceremony on 2 September (Variety, 30 August). Dern presented the same prize to David Lynch at Venice in 2006. She and Clooney co-starred in Noah Baumbach's 2025 competition title Jay Kelly. The festival runs 2–12 September.
