Elizabeth Jane Howard's niece extends the Cazalet Chronicles with The Golden Hours, published 28 August 2026

Mantle, an imprint of Pan Macmillan, publishes The Golden Hours on 28 August 2026 — the sixth volume in Elizabeth Jane Howard's Cazalet Chronicles, written by Howard's niece Louisa Young. Mantle has acquired three new Cazalet novels from Young. The original five volumes have sold millions of copies and never gone out of print since 1990.
