Gamescom 2026: Stolen exhibitor laptops put unreleased game builds at leak risk

iam8bit, Tessera Studios and indie developer Ryan Laley reported laptops and a Steam Deck stolen from their Gamescom 2026 booths in Cologne. The stolen devices held unfinished builds of Petal Runner, Escape Academy 2 and The Zibbo Show. Gamescom said uniformed guards patrol the venue but individual stand security is each booth's responsibility.
