Jaissle gets first Premier League win as Newcastle win 2-0 at Tottenham

Newcastle beat Tottenham 2-0 away, giving new manager Matthias Jaissle his first Premier League victory. Anthony Elanga and Yoane Wissa — paired together from the start — scored the second-half goals. Elanga had suffered an injury scare in pre-season against Valencia (Reuters, 8 August) but was fit to start. Spurs, under Thomas Frank, could not respond.
