Wakefield beat York 28-12 to end losing run and seal Super League play-off spot

Wakefield Trinity ended a three-match losing run and booked a Betfred Super League play-off place with a 28-12 win over York Knights at the DIY Kitchens Stadium. Second-half tries from Walmsley (2), Myers and Jowitt pulled Trinity clear after a 10-4 half-time lead. Wakefield move two points clear in fourth, six above seventh-placed St Helens.
