Pace founder Arne Glimcher emails Met director opposing planned Galliano show

Arne Glimcher, founder of Pace Gallery, sent an email critical of the Metropolitan Museum of Art's planned John Galliano exhibition to Met director Max Hollein and curator David Breslin, the New York Times and Art News reported. Glimcher's objection adds a prominent dealer's voice to backlash against "John Galliano: Horizons," the Costume Institute's spring 2027 show. The Met has not publicly responded.
