New Girl creator Liz Meriwether confirmed there are no scripts or plans for a reunion, contradicting star Max Greenfield, who said on Today with Jenna & Sheinelle in late July that a revival was happening and he had read "amazing" scripts. Meriwether was firm at a Furious screening in West Hollywood, per Variety (29 August 2026). The Fox sitcom ran seven seasons, 2011–2018.
