Millar's late winner spoils Coventry's Premier League homecoming

Coventry City hosted their first top-flight match at the Coventry Building Society Arena on 29 August 2026, a return to the Premier League after more than 25 years away. Hull City substitute Liam Millar, on since the 60th minute, scored on a counterattack in the 82nd to win it 1-0 past goalkeeper Carl Rushworth. Hull have two away wins from two without conceding.
