Forest table £40m bid for Everton teenager Armstrong

Nottingham Forest have submitted a formal £40m offer plus add-ons for Everton's 19-year-old midfielder Harrison Armstrong, first reported by The Athletic's David Ornstein. Armstrong has 23 senior appearances and started Everton's 2-0 win over Crystal Palace. Everton are discussing the proposal. Manager David Moyes has already voiced frustration at the club's summer transfer activity.
