Boulter: Cannabis smell at US Open "off putting" and distracting during matches

British number one Katie Boulter, ranked world 60, says cannabis smell drifting from Corona Park onto the US Open courts is "off putting" and takes her out of the moment during matches. Cannabis is legal in New York for adults 21 and over. The USTA, which runs the tournament, says it cannot control smoking off the grounds but works with police to reduce it at the site boundary. Boulter faces wildcard Carol Young Suh Lee in round one.
