Aardman-Pokémon stop-motion series gets first teaser, Disney+ as 2027 streaming home

The first teaser for Pokémon Tales: The Misadventures of Sirfetch'd & Pichu premiered on 28 August at Pokémon XP in San Francisco. Aardman's stop-motion series, set in the Galar region from Pokémon Sword and Shield, will stream exclusively on Disney+ in 2027. The collaboration between The Pokémon Company and Aardman was first announced in December 2024.
