Ed Sheeran responds to Ali G trailer naming him alongside wars and COVID

The trailer for Sacha Baron Cohen's 'Ali G: Who Iz I?' introduces the character's return: 'I've been gone for 20. There's been wars, COVID, and Ed Sheeran.' Sheeran posted on Instagram: 'Tell 10-year-old me that Ali G would put him in his movie' and 'Restecpa.' Amazon MGM releases the film in theatres on 23 October 2026.
