Taylor Swift donated $50,000 to a GoFundMe for Ashley Taunton, a Connecticut mother of three struck by a hydroplaning car after she pushed a person to safety while helping stranded teenagers in a rainstorm. Taunton has had two surgeries with more scheduled. The campaign had raised $64,257 toward a $110,000 goal as of late August 2026.
