Coyote vs. Acme reaches US theatres after four-year limbo and a Warner Bros. write-down

Coyote vs. Acme opened in US theatres on 28 August 2026, The Hollywood Reporter confirmed. Live-action filming wrapped in May 2022; Warner Bros. shelved the completed, roughly $70 million film in November 2023 for an estimated $30 million tax write-down. Ketchup Entertainment acquired worldwide rights in March 2025 for a reported $50 million. Director Dave Green posted: "WE WON."
