Unreleased builds of Petal Runner and Escape Academy 2 stolen from Gamescom business hall

iam8bit reported two laptops stolen overnight from its booth in Gamescom 2026's restricted business hall in Cologne, despite venue security. The laptops held early demos of Petal Runner (Nano Park Studios) and Escape Academy 2 (Coin Crew Games), used for press sessions. iam8bit stated the unfinished builds are at risk of leaking. Solo developer Ryan Laley's equipment was also stolen.
