Pajari leads Rally Paraguay as Neuville, Ogier and Katsuta retire on opening day

Toyota's Sami Pajari leads Rally Paraguay by 11.9 seconds over Hyundai part-timer Hayden Paddon after day one in Encarnación. Thierry Neuville, Sébastien Ogier and Takamoto Katsuta all retired across the opening eight stages. Championship leader Elfyn Evans sits third, 30 points clear of Pajari in the standings.
