Fable delayed to February 2027, director says move avoids "chaotic" late-2026 window including GTA 6

Microsoft's Fable reboot, previously targeting October 2026, launches February 23, 2027 on Xbox Series X|S, PS5 and PC. Director Ralph Fulton told IGN at gamescom the delay's rationale was "absolutely sound," avoiding a "chaotic window" he confirmed includes GTA 6 (November 19) and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 (October 23). Fulton said the shift initially caused "a bit of disappointment" among developers.
