Hooters Founding Partners Independently Producing 'Hooters: The Movie' with Director Jon Rosenbaum

'Hooters: The Movie' is in development, independently produced by the restaurant chain's original founding partners, Deadline reported. Jon Rosenbaum, Emmy-nominated director of 'Woody Woodpecker Goes to Camp,' will direct. Ed Droste, Phil Olson and Chuck Melcher wrote the screenplay, dramatising Hooters' 1983 founding. Filming is eyed for November in the Tampa and Clearwater, Florida area. No distributor is attached.
