Norwegian Leknessund wins Vuelta stage seven on day of King Harald's death
Andreas Leknessund soloed to his first Grand Tour stage win on the summit finish at Valdelinares, attacking 7.5 km out to finish 34 seconds clear of Uno-X teammate Tobias Johannessen. Hours earlier, riders held a minute's silence for King Harald of Norway, whose death was announced that morning. Uno-X wore black armbands. Van Aert took third.
