Yorkshire cleared by Cricket Regulator over £1.75m payment to CEO's company

The Cricket Regulator has cleared Yorkshire CCC after investigating a £1.75m payment to SMP73 Ltd, a company controlled by chief executive Sanjay Patel, for brokering the £100m sale of the Northern Superchargers. Chair Colin Graves confirmed no charges were issued, with the regulator finding "satisfactory governance processes." The ECB, which had referred the matter, declined to comment.
