U2's first new studio album since 2017 brings back Larry Mullen Jr.

U2 will release their first studio album of new material since 2017's 'Songs of Experience' later in 2026, Rolling Stone reports. Drummer Larry Mullen Jr. returns on the record after sitting out the band's 2023/24 Sphere residency in Las Vegas while recovering from back surgery. Lead single 'Street of Dreams' is already out, following two EPs, 'Days of Ash' and 'Easter Lily', released earlier in 2026.
