Larenz Tate launches Vault, a streaming platform where filmmakers keep ownership and set their own prices
Actor Larenz Tate has launched Vault, a streaming platform now live at thevaultaccess.com that lets independent filmmakers host content at no cost, set their own pricing, decide which titles are free or paywalled, and retain revenue ownership. Tate built the platform with Kenneth Gifford of the Newark International Film Festival and brothers Larron and Lahmard Tate. More than 50,000 subscribers have signed up, according to Variety (28 August 2026).
