BBC Proms dedicates full Royal Albert Hall concert to Alan Menken's Disney scores, 31 August

Six West End soloists — Stewart Clarke, Ben Forster, Lucie Jones, Sam Oladeinde, Celinde Schoenmaker and Marisha Wallace — perform Alan Menken's Disney scores with the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra and National Youth Music Theatre at the Royal Albert Hall on Monday 31 August at 7pm. Sarah Hicks conducts. The programme spans nine films, from The Little Mermaid to Newsies. £8 Promming tickets go on sale that morning. Broadcast live on BBC Radio 3; filmed for BBC Two on 5 September.
