Hellraiser: Revival clears ESRB Mature rating without cutting extreme content

Saber Interactive's Hellraiser: Revival received an ESRB Mature 18+ rating in February 2026, keeping all extreme content — including full frontal nudity and graphic gore — intact. The studio told GameSpot it refused to compromise even at the risk of being denied classification, the rating that determines whether a game can be sold, in certain regions. The survival horror game launches October 8, 2026 for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
