Leicester sign Australian stand-off Bowen — but he won't arrive until 2027

Leicester Tigers have signed 22-year-old Australian stand-off half Jack Bowen from the NSW Waratahs on a multi-year deal, the club confirmed on 28 August 2026. Bowen will spend his first year on loan at Japan's Mitsubishi Dynaboars, Leicester's partner club, before joining the Premiership squad from 2027. Head coach Geoff Parling said Bowen is expected at the club from 2027 onwards.
