Bengaluru farmhouse built from its own excavated soil
Nodecraft Studio's 279-square-metre Aalok Farmhouse near Bengaluru uses poured earth — site soil mixed with lime, cement and aggregates, moulded into load-bearing walls — as its structural fabric, Dezeen reported on 28 August 2026. The weekend house and business-meeting venue arranges pavilion volumes around existing trees, with circulation externalised through courtyards and shaded pathways rather than internal corridors.
