Longchamp turns Heatherwick's SoHo staircase into a clothing collection

Longchamp has launched La Maison Unique, a seven-piece collection whose swirling geometric print is drawn directly from the sculptural steel staircase inside its SoHo boutique at 132 Spring Street, New York. Heatherwick Studio, which first designed the store in 2006, recently recoloured the staircase in "Energy Green" — the palette now applied across a wool coat, skirts, scarf, headband, top and bag. The staircase motif also extends into Longchamp's Winter 2026 line, appearing on coats, skirts and the Le Pliage travel bag. The store reopened on 20 April 2025.
