Australian Horror 'Effigy' Wraps, Sets Major Festival Premiere

Australian supernatural horror 'Effigy,' directed by Myles McEwen and Ripley Stevens, has completed production and unveiled first-look images, per Variety. Set in 1989 England, the Black Mandala Films production follows the Marsh family's violent haunting after unearthing a mysterious effigy doll. A festival premiere is planned but unnamed. McEwen and Stevens' prior feature 'Nightfall' is awaiting worldwide release.
